REPORT ON FIFTH IRISH INTERNATIONAL
UFO CONFERENCE
27th/28th
September, 2008
The FIFTH IRISH
INTERNATIONAL UFO CONFERENCE which took place on the weekend of 27th/28th
September, 2008 in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.Leitrim.
It was a resounding success – everyone voted that it was by far and
away the best Conference to date, some going so far as to say that is was the
best Conference they had ever been to! Great praise indeed and I was
particularly pleased that it had turned out so well, given the ill-health that
had dogged me all year. At the end of it I got a standing ovation which made my
day!
There were a great variety of speakers as always. I opened the
proceedings by welcoming all, speakers and delegates alike, some of whom had
travelled very long distances. Speakers Mary Rodwell and Robert Salas had come
from Australia and America respectively, whilst delegates Sam and Karen Butler,
who are also members, had come all the way from Costa Rica!
The first
speaker was US Air Force Capt Robert Salas, Missile Launch Officer in charge of
a missile launch control facility at Malestrom Air Force base in Montana for
intercontinental nuclear Minuteman missiles. On 24th March 1967 in an air
incident called the "Oscar Flight Shutdown", UFOs outside the gate of this
facility caused all ten of the missiles under his control to be disabled in
succession. In North Dakota, Wyoming, Missouri and New Mexico in underground
military facilities, 150 intercontinental ballistic missiles, nuclear-armed,
which were all within concrete capsules 60 feet underground for protection from
a nuclear blast, were ready to be launched when UFOs appeared and disabled
them.
John Pickering spoke next. John, from the UK, presented
wonderfully detailed imagery on the screen of beautiful Orbs of Light, Light
Beings and Luminosities. The Orbs when enlarged show intricate patterns and
colours and can be photographed by regular cameras as well as digitals. John
started to see the Orbs and other lights in the 1950s and says that they are
circular symbolisms as represented by ying and yang, mandelas, the Earth etc.
Intention plays a great part in being able to see the Orbs and other Light
Beings. Orbs are unfolding to everyone more frequently these days, uniting all
life in the Oneness. Beyond the Orbs and Luminosities is a unifying field of
consciousness, teaching us that we are not alone and that all life is
interconnected.
A SURPRISE VIDEO, show especially for me on the occasion
of the 5th Conference, was presented by Carl Nally. It was taken by a Senior
Garda Officer in the Drumshaughlin, Co Meath area from his cell phone on 3rd
August 2008 and showed a triangular "craft" with lights at each point and which
at one stage shot a red laser beam down to earth. Similar craft were seen in the
same area by a local Councillor and an airline pilot. This video has received
nationwide publicity in all the media. Needless to say, some debunkers claimed
they were Chinese lanterns! Would Chinese lanterns be able to shoot down a
laser beam??!!
After lunch Mary Rodwell spoke. She is a hypnotherapist,
counsellor and a researcher of the UFO and Contact Phenomena. She talked about
the "Star Children", successors to the "Indigos" who were now coming into the
world with very special psychic and healing abilities. One such child
revealed: that the pyramids were constructed by changing the density structure
of the stones, which were then levitated and put into place; that a huge crystal
was installed on the top of the pyramids for communication with other worlds;
that something huge, which as not been found yet, lies beneath the Sphinx and
that the opening mechanism is behind the ear of the Sphinx; and that underneath
the Great Pyramid is a Spaceship.
Paddy Heron from Ireland spoke next.
He talked about the prophesies of the Apocalypse and the End Times of
Revelations and the Epiphany he had experienced at 24 years of age. He spoke of
how an advanced race had built the Great Pyramids of Giza (which stand in the
centre of the world) and other great monuments and speculated on how the
sculptures of the huge heads on Easter Island, which number over 900, got to be
there. He also spoke about the Nephilim, the fallen angels or messengers –
spirit beings who travel through dimensions at will.
The first speaker on
Sunday was Ian Crane from the UK. He reminded us that this is the age of
researching information for ourselves and not to believe everything we are
told! He opined that Peak Oil and Global Warming are complete scams. He said
that the invasion of Iraq was not for oil but to destroy all the Sumerian
tablets (hence the "looting" of the Baghdad Museum), that a Bank crash will be
manipulated, and that we are getting very close to totalitarianism. He said
that on 9/11 the Earth's Crown Chakra was blasted open. He maintains that a
fake invasion by ETs is to be staged at the 2012 London Olympics, but did not
elaborated on the purpose behind it.
Ross Hemsworth (UK) spoke next. He
is the Managing Director of Glastonbury Radio and his show "Now THAT'S Weird" is
currently being filmed by the BBC and its popularity is growing rapidly. He
said we are all on a quest for truth, coming from different perspectives. He
spoke of a NASA prediction of a huge solar storm on 21st December 2012 – the day
of the end of the Mayan calendar! Ross hypothesised that the Loch Ness Monster
could be flipping through different dimensions and spoke of parallel universes.
He has also investigated crop circles and water crystals which often have
similar shapes to crop circles. He talked about the difference between ley
lines and energy lines. He maintained that the graves of Jesus and Mary
Magdalen are actually in Glastonbury and spoke about the prediction that on 14th
October there is to be a huge sighting of UFOs for three days.
Just after
lunch Mike Oram and John Pickering treated us to an amusing 10-minute cartoon
strip, which they had compiled themselves, called "Ben's World", featuring UFOs
and all things paranormal as seen through the eyes of a cartoon dog called Ben –
hence the title.
Mike Oram (UK) spoke of his experiences from a young age
with off-world Beings and told some fascinating stories of encounters, including
an incident near Area 51, when he experienced two hours of missing time. When
he was only 4 years old he told his mother that there was no death and that
during his lifetime, not hers, there was going to be a global shift of
consciousness. He spoke of his Star Brother called Telosh and of receiving
special symbols and numbers and said that when one meditated upon them, one
could change one's DNA as each symbol contained an encyclopedia of
knowledge.
The last speaker of the day was Andy Thomas from the UK who
showed many amazing pictures of Crop Circles in England. He explained in detail
the condition of the crops in the circles which had been bent at the joints by
heat, rather than being broken. He also spoke of the enormous complexity and
mathematic accuracy and precision of the designs, and scoffed at the feeble
attempts by the (infamous) team of Doug and Dave to make them manually. He
mentioned that geology and underground water is also involved in Crop Circle
making, using the natural energy grid of the planet. Andy mentioned that the
recent UK Crop Circle that appeared depicting the nearly accurate alignment of
the planets projected to 21st December 2012 and which had been adjusted a week
later to show that the Sun had "swallowed up" Mercury and Venus, was made by the
farmer himself and was not done by the Circle makers, as some believed to be the
case.
Cruise aboard the Moon River – As usual on the Saturday evening
(27th) we enjoyed a four-hour cruise down the River Shannon aboard the pleasure
cruiser 'Moon River', with on-board buffet provided by Mary and Betty and music
by Martin Boston, a most enjoyable evening as always. At the end of the evening
we let off some Chinese lanterns, which always causes much hilarity.
This
brings us to the end of yet another very successful Conference.
I am sure we
are all looking forward to next year.
