| REPORT ON SECOND IRISH INTERNATIONAL UFO CONFERENCE 2005 This took place on the 27th/28th August 2005 in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. The Speakers came from different countries and spoke on a wide variety of most interesting UFO-related topics. The picture below shows a cross-section of the audience.
The President of the UFO Society of Ireland, Betty Meyler, opened the proceedings by welcoming everybody and presented the "The UFO Scene in Ireland Updated" with some recently received photograph evidence of UFOs in Ireland. For details of this update see the Sightings Page. Christopher Martin is from England. His Presentation was entitled "Intruders in the Night" and which showed some interesting footage of UFOs over London. Clint Denyer from England gave us a rivetting Presentation entitled "The Soul of the Paranormal and Hollow Earth". His talk linked together our present paranormal world and the teaching of ancient civilizations. He maintains that contrary to scientific and popular belief, the core of the Earth is hollow. He says that there are two 'openings', one at the North Pole and another at the South Pole. In fact a Russian millionaire has chartered a ship and plans to find the southern opening sometime in the year 2006 – fancy an exciting adventure?? Clint showed slides of these openings, also a large opening on Mars. Mike Bird hails from Toronto, Canada and he is the National Director for MUFON (Mutual UFO Network). His Presentation was entitled "Canadian Exopolitics – Standing on the Truth". His interest in UFOs started when he observed a UFO hovering over Lake Ontario south of Toronto for over two hours in September 1975. In the early 90's he started his own UFO discussion and Abduction Support Group. He drew attention to the interesting fact that Cardinal Balducci, who is an advisor to the Papacy, is in total support of the UFO phenomenon, and has been on many forums where he has spoken out on this truth. Kathleen Murray: I first met Kathleen in May of this year when I attended a Crystal Skulls Gathering in Frensham, Surrey, England, full details of which were reported in the June 2005 Newsletter. Kathleen is the Director of the Academy of Crystal and Natural Healing and her Presentation was entitled "My Experiences with Beings from the Stars". She told us how she has received many messages from her Crystal Skulls and how they have helped cure her of cancer. She led a Meditation during which she brought down the 'Beings of Light', an powerful experience which was shared by many in the audience. Francine Blake from England is the founder of the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group and is one of the main organisers of their annual Crop Circle Conference and her Presentation was entitled "The Mysteries of Crop Circles". She showed us pictures of Crop Circles that have appeared in the Wiltshire area that encompasses Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Avebury, all centres of very high energy, that have been formed in recent years. Apparently very often a mist appears in a field and when it clears – hey presto! There is a Crop Circle!! There is a school of thought that believes that most Crop Circles are manmade, - no doubt some of them are, but when you see the dimensions of most of them and the fact that they are laid down a very short space of time, they could not possibly be manmade. Also every stalk of the crop is bent at a node and carefully put down – if they were manmade, they would simply break. Eamonn Ansbro is the Director of Kingsland Observatory, Ireland and he is a SETI scientist who has developed an all-sky Tracking system. He has developed a higher consciousness in order to communicate with these highly evolved Beings of Light. His Presentation was entitled "Communications with Extraterrestrial Intelligence" and he told us of the occasion when he and some friends ‘vectored' in a craft somewhere in County Kerry, Ireland. By means of group telepathic communication a craft did appear and they then ‘asked' it to do a figure of 8, which it did! They were hoping that it would land, but sadly one of the group became alarmed and the craft zoomed off. Degnan Geraghty is the Spiritual Leader to the members of the Irish Raelian Movement which is working towards establishing the first Embassy to welcome People from Space. His Presentation was entitled "There is Life in Space and on other Planets". He gave many quotations from the Bible, the Book of Genesis which says that it is the Elohim, those who ‘Come from the Sky' who are the Creators of Heaven and of Earth and of all Beings both in Heaven, in other words the Universe, and on Earth. Haktan Aktogan is from Turkey and his Presentation was entitled "UFOs – the Turkish Perspective". He is the Founder and Chairman of Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Centre in Istanbul and of the Turkish International UFO Museum and the world's first Travelling UFO Museum. He also has his own television show. He told us that the authorities in Turkey are very open and receptive to the subject of UFOs and showed some incredible footage of the incident in 2002 when a UFO was seen to beam down a meteor that was heading towards planet Earth and which would have done considerable damage had it struck. He also showed some unbelievable pictures of a 'craft' taken in a remote forest, which seemed to have 'legs' dangling out of it – quite incredible.
